Nice To Meet You!

Hello! Welcome to my blog! I teach a 4th/5th Technology based Multi-Age Classroom (TMAC) at Lakeview Elementary School. Our TMAC classroom follows a blended learning model in which students receive part of their curriculum from 'yours truly' and part from on-line based Math & Language Arts programs. Students also spend a great deal of time communicating, collaborating and learning from each other. It is truly exciting to watch students take ownership of their learning! In the last 20 years, I have taught everything from Kinder through middle school... but upper elementary is where my heart is. My classroom is my "happy place." I genuinely love what I do. In addition to my 30 Lakeview children, I am also happily married to my prince charming and I am the proud mama of four amazing kids, Evan (14), Kendall & Megan (8) and Abby (7). Our family loves to travel, spend time at the beach, read and watch movies. Life is a crazy adventure!
